About The Author
Julie Greig
Julie moved to South Australia 44 years ago with her husband. They married in Whyalla, then moved to Adelaide where they made their home, raised two boys and a menagerie of pets, dogs, cats, kangaroos and possums.
Julie started her career as a veterinary nurse and then completed post graduate studies in business management while working in various public service roles.
Over the years, she has been active in her community at both a Local and State level, represented South Australia in trade delegations, and has taken a strong stand on human rights, animal rights and vilification issues.
Life changed drastically for Julie when her husband was diagnosed with a terminal cancer. Julie’s story is about life following loss and grief and all the trials and tribulations of being on your own again and trying for a second chance. Julie takes you on her bumpy journey through the online dating world. It’s a story she wants to share in the hope that it gives other women the confidence to have a second chance at a relationship after losing that special someone who rocked their world.
